Sporting Equipment

Oversized fees are waived for approved sporting equipment measuring between 63 and 115 linear inches. Covered gear includes golf bags, skis, snowboards, surfboards, paddleboards, and non-motorized bicycles. Standard checked bag rates apply; items exceeding 50 lbs (23 kg) incur overweight charges ($100 for 51–70 lbs / $200 for 71–100 lbs). Bicycles must have pedals removed and handlebars turned sideways inside a rigid box or travel case. Equipment exceeding 100 lbs or 115 linear inches cannot be checked as baggage.

Musical Instruments

Small instruments travel free as carry-on if they fit in overhead bins or under seats. Bulky instruments can travel in the cabin by purchasing a ticketed seat at standard passenger fares. Checked instruments in the hold travel with oversized fees waived up to 150 linear inches. Hard-sided protective cases are required; overweight fees apply to instruments exceeding 50 lbs, with a hard check-in weight ceiling of 165 lbs.

Carrier Liability & Seasonal Limits

Laptops, cameras, and drones must travel in cabin carry-on allocations. Spare lithium-ion batteries and standalone power banks are prohibited in checked storage holds. Televisions and desktop monitors checked into the hold carry no airline transit liability and require a signed limited-release waiver at check-in.
